After a year-long sabbatical from portrait painting, I am now taking on new commissions. You can use the form below to start the process, but first, some things about my process, for your consideration:

• My Method: I paint portraits in a classical style while attempting to represent my subjects truthfully, without artificiality and avoiding artistic conventions, or implausible, exotic, and supernatural elements. I want my subjects to feel that I have not only captured their image but also their complete essence.  I prefer to paint from life but I will paint from photos, especially of children and pets.  I also like to employ a combination of sittings and photos.
• Timetable: It usually takes anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks to complete a painting.
• Prices: Range from $300-$10,000.
