DESCRIPTION: I had the good fortune to remove two honey locust trees from a Potomac, Maryland property and the resulting special wood allowed for this work of art. The bold black figure in the creamy sapwood makes a wonderful contrasting frame for the warm orange color of the heartwood. A rare piece made from a rare piece of wood.
